Laboratory: The department has a full-fledged B. Sc laboratory, two M. Sc laboratories and a research laboratory. The department is an approved research     center of the M. G. University. The PG lab is equipped with modem instruments such as Electronic Balance, UV-visible Spectrophotometer, Conductivity Bridge, Colorimeter, Refractometer, Polarimeter, Muffle Furnace, etc.

Department Activities

Students are deputed to participate in Quiz competitions held outside the College. The final year UG and PG students go for 3-day picnics every year along with their class teachers. Every year the teachers take the final B. Sc students to a nearby chemical factory as part of their fieldwork. The B.Sc (Vocational) students undergo '50 days' on-the-job training programme in chemical factories once during the course.

Future Plans
