The Placement Cell plays a major role in equipping the students for better career options. The Cell organizes classes for the final year degree students on soft skills and trains them in group discussion, CV preparation and interview techniques. The English department was roped in to conduct the classes. The Cell offers free internet access, helping students in creating mail id, opening and operating net. It also subscribes various periodicals and magazines on current employment opportunities. Mentoring is offered through all the stages of the recruitment process including liaising with the recruiters.

The Placement Cell has been successful in bringing leading firms to the campus. Recruitment is usually done during the period from November to February. More than 150 students of the passing out batch were placed in the preceding year.   

We have two placement officers; one for MCA and one for other courses.The placement cell has done a commendable job in attracting top companies to the campus for placement season.A large number of our students are placed in companies like TCS,Wipro,HCL,IBS,Satyam, Apex Lab , Genpact ,Malayala manorama,ICICI,HDFC Spectrum etc.An Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) was inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Aziz, Vice Chancellor, CUSAT on August 19, 2006, with the objective of reducing the gap between the industry expectation and academic offerings by the direct involvement of industry.
