The Department of Psychology is conducting Dr.V.K.Alexander Memorial Seminar and Old students reunion on 9th February 2008. Dr.P.J.Sasi, Clinical Psychologist, will deliver the V.K.Alexander Memorial Lecture. All the alumni are requested to attend the seminar and reunion with family.

Spectrum 2008
The Department of Physics Celebrates the Golden Jubilee of the MSc Programme during January - December 2008. As part of the celebrations the Department organised an exhibition - Spectrum 2008 - in Physics, Electronics & Computer Science for High School and Plus two Students during 10th - 12th January 2008.The Exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. K.Govindankutty Menon, former Professor and Head of the Department. About 1000 students from various schools in and around Aluva visited the Exhibition.
Dr. Richard M Stallman, Founder and Crusader of Free Software Movement visited Union Christian College on January 10th, 2008 at 10.00 a.m. He delivered a lecture on Free Software in Ethics and in Practice at the Platinum Jubilee Auditorium.
Sri. Joseph Mathew, I.T. Advisorto Chief Minister, Govt. of Kerala, Sr. Anver Saddath, Executive Director, IT@School project and other distinguished guests are expected to attend the function.
The newly constucted MCA Building and a Centre for Free Software Research and Extension will also be inaugurated in the function.
